We are in need of a Senior Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and solutions within the organization. This role involves working closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for the ERP system. The candidate will lead 4-5+ activity workstreams, involved in pre-RFP, post-RFP, and implementation phases of the State ERP System. This position will be full-time contract and onsite.

What You’ll Do
Analyze the business domain, document processes and systems, outline business requirements, and align them with the software business model for implementation
Participate in workflow and process improvements, document current state processes, and collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvements
Develop a production run or modernization roadmap and business case.
Translate business needs to technology solutions; exhibit expertise in client engagement
Conduct requirements gathering and analysis through interviews, workshops, and analysis of existing business processes
Develop KPIs to measure outcomes against business and vendor community; critical to project success
Perform public sector and solution research to analyze available vendor solutions that best suit agency requirements
Create visual representations like process flows and diagrams to illustrate current and future state business processes
Manage stakeholders by building strong relationships with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors; act as a liaison to ensure clear communication and consensus on project deliverables
Assist in change management by analyzing the impact of system changes on business processes and collaborating with stakeholders to develop strategies and communication plans
Collaborate with testing teams to define test plans, scenarios, and test cases based on documented requirements; review and validate test results
What You'll Need
Required:
Extensive experience in business analysis, particularly within ERP systems, including pre-RFP, post-RFP, and implementation phases
Strong analytical skills with the ability to document processes, outline business requirements, and match them with software models
Proven ability in workflow and process improvement, including developing production run or modernization roadmaps
Expertise in translating business needs into technology solutions, with strong client engagement skills
Experience in stakeholder management, fostering strong relationships with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors
Proficiency in change management strategies, analyzing impacts on business processes and developing communication plans
Knowledge and experience with Peoplesoft HCM, Finance, or Pension modules
Familiarity with public sector solutions and vendor analysis to best suit agency requirements
Strong skills in creating visual representations, like process flows and diagrams, to aid in business process modeling
Undergraduate degree in computer science preferred.
The pay range for this position is $110,000 - $125,000 annually (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
