Job Description

We are looking for a Problem Analyst to investigate incidents and issues identified as problems, and coordinate support teams to aid in the remediation of problems. This position will be Full-Time and Onsite. With employees expected to work onsite five days per week.

This opportunity exists within our CAI’s Neurodiverse Solutions business unit, all candidates in consideration of positions within CAI’s Neurodiverse Solutions must be able to self-disclose that they identify as neurodivergent.

Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, only US Citizens and Green Card Holders/Permanent residents will be considered for this role. Candidates must be able to work directly on CAI's W2.

What You’ll Do

  • Investigate incidents and issues identified as problems 

  • Create reports and dashboards to aid in trend identification

  • Attend and/or facilitate meetings to review/discuss potential problems

  • Log/track non-P1 problems as the assigned Problem Manager

  • Initiate Problem investigations and root cause analysis in conjunction with the Problem Owner

  • Coordinate support teams to aid in the remediation of problems, implementation of technical and operational improvements, and facilitate the development and production of workarounds. 

  • Escalate issues as identified to Senior Problem Analyst or leadership as needed

  • Testing and documentation of team procedures

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)

  • Meeting facilitation and note-taking

  • Excellent documentation skills

  • Demonstrated ability to self-motivate and be flexible within a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work independently as well as being part of a team  

  • Adaptable enthusiastic quick learner 

  • Hands on, team player with a proactive and optimistic outlook

  • Strong active listening, critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Effective organizational and time management skills

Preferred:

  • Professional office experience or some college training in lieu of IT Service Operations or Problem Management experience preferred

  • Demonstrate some knowledge of IT processes and frameworks (SDLC, ITIL, COBIT etc.) 

  • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure components (servers, network, storage) or processes followed in software development and IT operations, as well some of the tools used to implement and manage them. 

Physical Demands 

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

The pay range for this position is up to $28.00 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave as provided by applicable law.
