CAI is looking for an IT Security Architect to work on a team of IT project professionals to review, assess, and remediate issues across a number of initiatives across the IT portfolio. This is a Hybrid position located near Washington D.C.Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Security Architect to join our IT team. This position will be full-time, hybrid (3 days onsite), and is a contract position.

Establish the target security/infrastructure architecture for the client
Author corresponding requirements, including definition of dependencies on infrastructure consolidation efforts

Define Security/Information Assurance requirements (and dependencies)
Specify key architectural aspects of the architecture view and identify other aspects that need definition
Research best practices for reuse, applying client IT Security and industry standards, and defining the transformation approach that transitions the current architecture to the target architecture
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
Experience working with current and emerging information security technologies and development methodologies
3 years of experience in security architecture and working with computer systems
9 years of experience in information security, network software and hardware, data or voice
9 years of experience with open and proprietary software and hardware
5 years of experience in troubleshooting Mobile Applications, Windows, Linux applications and cloud-based environments
Preferred:
IT Security Certification is Desired (CISSP, CISA, CISM, Sec+)
Experience with the following tools: Better Bus Network Redesign, Trapeze to HASTUS Migration, Fleet Technology Optimization: Bus Technology Optimization, Railcar-to everything communication, Access Services Technology Optimization, Tap-n-Go, Exadata migration to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
The pay range for this position is $73- $83 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave as provided by applicable law.
