Job Description

We are looking for an Infrastructure Project Manager to lead shipboard IT infrastructure projects from initiation to successful delivery. This position will be full-time contract and hybrid in Miramar, FL.

Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, only US Citizens and Green Card Holders/Permanent residents will be considered for this role. Candidates must be able to work directly on CAI's W2.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead shipboard IT infrastructure projects (Dry Docks, Modernizations, New Builds, Destinations) from initiation to successful delivery

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans using MS Project or equivalent tools

  • Track and report on project budgets, forecasts, variances, and procurement milestones

  • Serve as the primary liaison across IT, shipboard operations, contractors, and senior business stakeholders

  • Travel globally to manage onsite execution during dry dock periods (4–12 weeks per trip)

  • Navigate fast-moving construction and upgrade environments—problem-solving daily challenges while ensuring project timelines stay intact

  • Prepare executive-level project updates, risk mitigation plans, and formal presentations

  • Ensure alignment with broader IT architecture, infrastructure strategy, and guest experience standards

What You'll Need

Required:

  • 5+ years of project management experience in infrastructure or operations-heavy environments

  • Recent experience managing large-scale projects using waterfall methodology and multi-workstream coordination

  • Strong budgeting, procurement, and vendor management skills

  • Highly developed problem-solving mindset—able to anticipate issues and pivot quickly

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical audiences

  • Willingness and ability to travel 40–50% globally

Preferred:

  • PMP certification strongly preferred

  • Background in finance or detailed budget accountability

  • Shipboard experience or maritime industry exposure a strong plus

  • Familiarity with enterprise IT systems, networking, venue technologies, and construction site safety protocols

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with the occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
