We are looking for an Infrastructure and Desktop Support Consultant to lead our IT infrastructure management and desktop engineering initiatives. This position will be full-time and remote, with a long-term contract.
*Must be able to support MST hours to support the team
Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, only US Citizens and Green Card Holders/Permanent residents will be considered for this role. Candidates must be able to work directly on CAI's W2.

What You’ll Do
Design, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems
Ensure high availability and performance of critical systems
Develop, configure, and maintain desktop environments
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring optimal performance
Manage and administer Office 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and other collaborative tools
Implement security measures and compliance policies
Provide advanced technical support to internal teams
Resolve complex technical issues and offer guidance on best practices
Create and maintain detailed documentation for systems architecture, configurations, and processes
Document user requests and issues, including diagnostic steps and resolutions
Mentor junior engineers and provide training on new technologies and processes
Answer team member questions and oversee work for quality and compliance
Monitor work queue and manage Freshservice incidents
Rotate On-Call schedule with the team
What You'll Need
Required:
Minimum of 5 years in infrastructure and desktop engineering, with a strong focus on Office 365 administration
Proficiency in managing Windows and/or Linux servers
Proficient in Windows OS, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
Familiarity with network protocols and services (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
Experience with local domain and mixed level environments
A bachelor's or associate degree in a technical field combined with several years of relevant experience
Preferred:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
