Design interactive and responsive layouts for websites, mobile applications, and digital interfaces

  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas

  • Develop prototypes and high-fidelity mockups

  • Work closely with developers to ensure design is properly implemented and to troubleshoot any design-related issues

  • Conduct user research and testing to gather feedback and iterate on design

  • Ensure all design elements, templates, and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types and screen settings

  • Consider the human-computer interaction (HCI) element of a design, and optimize user experience

  • Develop new user-facing features to enhance the user experience

  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

  • Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability and user interface

  • Perform application updates and debugging to ensure high-performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end

  • Validate user actions on the client-side and providing responses

  • Maintain an understanding of the latest web applications and programming practices

  • Develop and implementing responsive design for mobile sites

  • What You'll Need

    Required

    • 5 years of experience experience designing interactive and responsive layouts for websites, mobile applications, and digital interfaces

    • Ability in ensuring all design elements, templates, and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types and screen settings

    • Experience in developing new user-facing features to enhance the user experience

    • Strong organizational skills and strong ability to prioritize workload Required

    • Ability to interact with all levels of staff, both internal and externally, in both business and technical

    Desired

    • Experience working with Amazon Web Services suite of products and/or Salesforce

    • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related field Desired

    • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

    • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc
