We are looking for a Business Analyst to review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs. This position will be full-time and hybrid in Trenton, NJ.

Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs
Collaborate with business units and leaders across the EDA to define project objectives and scope and implement solutions
Work as a liaison between stakeholders and Dev Team for gathering requirements and user feedback. Also assist to increase transparency and communication
Understand business needs and translate into requirements/stories for the developers to design and implement
Brainstorm solutions, prioritize development roadmaps, and release solutions developed by the development team
Successfully deliver end products to the stakeholders while ensuring usage of those solutions
Own and develop relationship with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance our integration
Help design, document, and maintain system processes
Report on common sources of technical issues and/or questions and make recommendations to the product team
Communicate key insights and findings to the product team
Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer
Promotes teamwork and communication to encourage an interactive, cooperative, collaborative and customer focused work environment among division, EDA staff and external customers
Must complete annual and semiannual self-assessment as required
Performs other duties and special projects, as assigned
What You'll Need
Required:
7 years' experience as a Business Analyst
5 years' experience developing and maintaining business and functional requirements documents
Strong organization skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly within the constraints of user’s timelines
5 years experience with Project Management tools, preferably Azure DevOps.
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills; technical, design and implementation skills
5 years experience optimizing business processes and workflows for efficiency and effectiveness
Ensure clear and effective communication between business and IT teams.
Conduct impact assessments and feasibility studies for proposed projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with business goals
Continuously assess and improve business analysis processes and methodologies
Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive analysis
Preferred:
Experience conducting Facilitated Workshops for requirements analysis
Experience creating workflows using formal notation such as the Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN)
Knowledge of formal requirements gathering methodologies
Experience developing business, functional, user (stakeholder), and quality-of-service (non-functional) requirements
Experience developing report specifications and Requirements Traceability Matrices
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
