We are looking for a Program Specialist to focus on day-to-day program support, requisition processing, candidate screening, and VMS system administration. This position will be full-time and onsite in Augusta, ME.

What You'll Do
This role focuses on day-to-day program support, requisition processing, candidate screening, and VMS system administration
Partner with State managers to support requisition creation, candidate review, scheduling, and selection processes
Conduct candidate screenings, coordinate interviews, and facilitate timely communications between suppliers and hiring managers
Provide operational support for VMS usage, including user assistance, training, and troubleshooting
Maintain accurate records of requisition activity, supplier performance, and candidate placements
Assist with supplier performance monitoring and issue resolution, including facilitating performance improvement plans when required
Support program reporting, billing reviews, and compliance tracking
Provide backup support to the Program Manager and other MSP Account Team members
Ensure all communications and deliverables meet State expectations for professionalism, responsiveness, and timeliness
Maintain on-site staffing presence in Augusta, ME during State business hours (Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.)
What You'll Need
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
8–10 years of experience providing staffing program support for MSP/VMS public sector clients
Strong understanding of staffing lifecycle processes, VMS platforms, and supplier engagement
Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to train and support end users on staffing and VMS processes
Ability to work onsite in Augusta, ME with occasional approved travel
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 annually (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
