Sr. Principal Product Verification Engineer (T5)
Location: Bangalore/India
Job Description
In this role, you will work on a team which is defining and deploying a throughput optimized solution for functional verification regression in our customer base. The responsibilities include the lead of solution validation efforts as well as the development of test scenarios inside the validation suite. As the solution team lead you are identifying areas of enhancements and drive their execution within the validation team.
You will be working in an agile team and will be responsible for proactively defining the solution validation suite development goals and tasks. You manage the implementation/closure of the relevant tasks, stories, and defect with the validation team. You will also implement parts of the solution validation suite yourself. You will lead the team towards success, increasing the solution product quality.

To achieve this, you will need to quickly become familiar with a large complex system. You will be responsible for working with developers to identify and help resolve issues that are found, and then when satisfied, manage the regression suite merge and deployment as necessary.
Job requirements
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Software QA/testing
- Preferably including end to end solution testing
- Minimum 2 years' experience in leading/mentoring QA engineers
- Confidence to challenge, question and explore presented problems and solutions
- Self-driven in problem analysis, resolution planning and execution
- Explore what's possible to get the job done, including creative use of unconventional solutions.
- An understanding and preferably experience with:
- Agile testing procedures
- Development of automated end to end functional tests
- Unit testing methodology
- Test development using Python scripts
- Selenium knowledge would be an advantage
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux scriptiong
- Good team working and communication skills
- Will be working in a geographically distributed team and therefore should be comfortable using remote communication techniques to understand and convey complex concepts
- Experience with Cadence Xcelium/Incisive Simulator, and vManager would be an advantage
- Experience in JIRA would be an advantage
- Own SW development experience would be an advantage
- Experience of GIT based version control would be an advantage
