The EMX R&D team is looking for a talented senior software engineer who is ready to make an immediate impact to the success of the EMX product line.
Responsibilities:
- Software development, debug and analysis in C++.
- Partner with cross-functional R&D teams to gather requirements, generate specifications, and architect solutions.
- Develop detailed functional specifications for new feature development and enhancements.
- Collaborate on key architecture and design decisions.
- Provide technical leadership on project areas, including cross-functional flows.

Requirements for the ideal candidate:
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
- 15+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong programming skills in C++ with a deep understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience developing and maintaining code bases of moderate size (100K lines).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable:
- Strong background in computational electromagnetics and circuit theory.
- Experience with parallelization and/or GPUs.
- Knowledge of linear algebra and numerical methods.
The annual salary range for California is $213,500 to $396,500. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
