Cadence Design Systems Inc. is looking for a motivated Product Validation Engineer I: Quality Assurance to work with us in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

As a Product Validation Engineer I: Quality Assurance, you will be part of the Jasper Research and Development team in the VFS group in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Job Description:

  • Developing and executing test plans for the exploration of a variety of features.
  • Writing different styles of RTL sources to address specific testing scenarios.
  • Implement automated tests for the various features of Jasper, our formal verification product.
  • Assisting the research & development team with specification feedbacks.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and enhancements.
  • Develop testing tools to maintain our software with the highest quality.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Complete bachelor's in computer science or computer Engineering or related fields.
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Reasonable spoken and written English.
  • Good interpersonal skills.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge/Experience EDA and VLSI design, including Verilog and VHDL languages.
  • Experience with scripting environments - either Tcl or Python.
  • Knowledge/Experience with Formal verification and/or simulation.
  • Professional experience with software testing, regression testing and automated testing tools.
