Broadridge is growing! We are currently recruiting for a Technical Support team memberto join our dynamic Production Operations team in South Windsor.
Work Mode: This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time.
Performs preventative maintenance. Troubleshoots and resolves equipment issues. Suggests new project ideas, and makes recommendations to improve print operations. Keeps a record of press consumable parts. Operates Print presses when needed. Reports directly Operations Management.

Job Responsibilities:
Performs preventative maintenance of print equipment Troubleshoots and resolves equipment issues and provides assistance to print operators when required. Makes recommendations for process improvements, proactively suggests project ideas to management for review and approved. Communicates effectively verbally and also through written turnovers, emails, and log book entries Understands and practices LEAN 5S principles Operates print presses when needed Keeps a monthly record press consumable inventory (e.g. Print Heads, Pens, Perf Blades, etc.) May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned

- Computer usage may be required up to 80 percent of the time
- Be able to move heavy paper roll and push output stacks to output cart
- Work additional hours including overtime due to business requirements
- Phone usage may be required up to 10 percent of the time
- Travel may be required up to 5 percent of the time
- May be required to lift, carry, and/or move equipment/supplies weighing up to 35 pounds
- May be exposed to excessive or loud noise where hearing protection use may be required
- Required to stand or walk a majority of the time
- May be required to use or work around equipment/machinery/vehicles (e.g., fork-lift, mail sorter, folder, cutters, press equipment, compressors, vacuum pumps, trim removal equipment, bailers, shredders, building, humidifiers, fire protection, facility plumbing, fixtures and systems which may involve exposure to electrical hazards, compressed air and refrigeration systems, etc.)
- May be exposed to adverse or hazardous conditions including, but not limited to high speed moving parts, fumes, smoke, heights, handling of chemicals and equipment contaminated with hazardous chemicals, electrical hazards, etc.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English language.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Base Electrical knowledge from training or work experience; 2 years of experience maintaining or operating high speed automated machinery.
- ACDC theory and other equipment related certification; 4 years of experience maintaining or operating high speed automated machinery preferred.
