Role Overview:
As a Technical Support Engineer you will be part of the Customer Success team responsible for the implementation, on-going support, and growth of a diverse set of client trading systems. Working closely with our engineers and product managers, you will help solve complex problems for our global customer base. This involves technical troubleshooting and functional requirements gathering. It requires both an understanding of IT system architecture and an understanding of financial markets and financial instruments. encompassing trading solutions across diverse product types, exchanges, and continents.
Responsibilities:
-Work directly with clients to help implement and use BR's ULLINK product solution for Equity and Future trading.
-Manage your own client portfolio.
-Troubleshoot production trading systems and liaise with engineering, product, and delivery teams to define, develop, and implement solutions.
-Support the BR sales and delivery teams in acquiring and deploying new clients.
-Collaborate with exchanges across the Americas on gateway issue investigations/postmortems and on the implications of upcoming market changes to BR systems.
-Work with clients' operations teams to implement and maintain best practices aligning with our internal procedures where appropriate.
-On-site and off-site consultancy upon request
-Perform trading support training for new clients or newly onboarded users.
-Work closely with Sales team to identify new opportunities within existing relationship.
Your Profile:
-Hardworking and eager to learn about our products.
-Strong team player
-Knowledge about equity and future trading support
-Proficiency with scripting languages like Python, BASH, etc.
-Knowledge on object-oriented programming languages like C++, Java, etc.
-Strong relationship management skills and experience and an ability to plan strategically.
-Experience in working with cross-functional/cross-departmental and virtual teams.
-Expected to showcase adeptness in resolving intricate problems.
-Be able to perform task autonomously and independently.
-Strong interest in finance, particularly electronic trading advancements
-Capable of thriving in demanding environments
-Deep commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction
