- Define test strategy, test suites, test scripts as well as design tools for QE testing with a focus on automation

- Analyze and find opportunities for continuous improvement and partner with engineering and operations team to constantly improve services
- Engage with product and engineering to drive and improve the whole lifecycle of operational readiness - from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement proactively.
- Write scripts, monitors, self-healing/auto remediation tools and automate the processes.
- Build and maintain the tools re-use in cloud and on-premise systems automation.
- Maintain business continuity by identifying and driving chances to create systems highly resilient and human-free.
- Closely work with software engineering team to ensure accurate monitoring and metrics are being built into applications before going to production.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on deployments, processes, and standard operating procedures/runbooks with a goal minimize runbooks by automation.
- Even after self-healing and automation done by you – if sophisticated issues arise, get involved with troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of issues across the stacks – hardware, software, database, network and so on.
- Uphold the ICS Quality organizations standards and procedures, including our coding best standards.
- Contribute to end-to-end acceptance tests.
- Aid with new testing tool selections while supporting the existing tools and activities as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 - 8+ years of experience in product engineering organization is critical.
- Passion around driving standard methodologies in the testing space.
- Have good understanding of TCP/IP and networking fundamentals.
- Strong analytical skills with a data driven approach to solving problems
- Experience crafting for and dealing with a large production environment.
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science engineering or related.
- Programming (Python, Scripting: Powershell, Perl, Shell Scripts) and automation skills.
- Experience with Linux, Internet Protocols, and Large-Scale Operations.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling: Jenkins, Spinnaker, GitLab runners, AWS DevOps, etc.
- Experience with designing, deploying and maintaining monitoring solutions such as Splunk.
- Great communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and own problem statements end-to-end.

Good to have Skills
- Cloud: AWS, Azure.
- Experience in writing monitoring and logging Scripts, Dashboards in the tools (Splunk, AppDynamics, Wavefront, Datadog)
- Experience in writing good splunk, wavefront query language.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Postgres, and document stores such as MongoDB.
- Experience deploying applications in containers using Docker, Helm and Kubernetes.
- Strong intuition about system design, robustness, and scalability.
- Solid Experience with Linux.
