The Senior Director, Client Partnerships will be the strategic leader for Broadridge's market data governance initiatives, vendor and exchange relationship management, and internal consulting on market data best practices. This high-visibility role is accountable for ensuring compliance, optimizing costs, building industry partnerships, and guiding internal stakeholders as the firm's primary market data subject matter expert. The Senior Director will drive process excellence, represent Broadridge in the external market data community, and develop internal expertise to deliver superior value to clients and the broader organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Broadridge's market data governance, ensuring strong risk management, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Oversee the entire market data acquisition and usage lifecycle, including inventory management, contract negotiation, and rights administration.
- Serve as the principal relationship manager for all data vendors and exchanges, fostering new and existing partnerships.
- Represent Broadridge in industry consortiums such as FISD and CCG; elevate firm presence and influence in the market data community.
- Streamline intake, triage, and fulfillment of internal market data requests through implementation of inventory, workflow, and ticketing tools (e.g., TRG Screen, Jira).
- Ensure all agreements, renewals, and usage rights are proactively managed and remain in compliance with external vendors/exchanges.
- Act as the trusted market data advisor and SME to internal stakeholders in sales, finance, procurement, product, and executive leadership.
- Collaborate with Procurement and CFO to optimize vendor agreements, reduce spend, eliminate duplication, and ensure business continuity.
- Develop and deliver market data training and onboarding materials to upskill internal staff and support succession planning.
- Establish and enforce standardized processes for market data acquisition and compliance across the enterprise.
- Monitor industry developments and ensure Broadridge adapts quickly to policy, technical, and pricing changes.
- Extensive experience (15+ years) in market data governance, vendor management, or a related financial services leadership role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex data vendor/exchange contracts and maintain full audit/compliance readiness.
- Deep knowledge of the financial data space, licensing structures, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven relationship-building skills with major market data vendors, exchanges, and industry consortiums.
- Hands-on experience with inventory management tools and workflow/ticketing systems (TRG Screen, Jira, or comparable platforms).
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong project and process management skills; ability to implement scalable, cross-functional processes.
- History of cost reduction, compliance risk avoidance, or operational optimization in market data roles.
- Experience leading & mentoring teams and delivering internal training/education programs.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., FISD) strongly preferred.
