We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Financial Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrate a high degree of initiative, and have a solid background in accounting and finance. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining our financial health and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities and processes, including reconciliations and consolidations.
• Support internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and responses.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making processes.
• Support indirect tax compliance; prepare and review indirect tax reconciliation and indirect tax returns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial goals and objectives.
• Continuously evaluate and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the finance department.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, staying current with changes in regulations and legislation.
• Act as a mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required by senior management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with a strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proven experience in a similar role within the financial services or technology industry is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., Oracle).
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adapt to changes quickly and handle multiple responsibilities with meticulous attention to detail.
