The Sr. Cross Media Designer is primarily responsible for logic-driven (versus traditional, conceptual graphic) design and support of print and digital client marketing communications. Proficient in variable dat a design, campaign development, and delivery. Mentors junior level team members and acts as a subject matter authority in variable data print development.

This person is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, HTML5, Java Script, and Variable Data Document Design and Software (XMPie, Pageflex, Adobe Experience Manager).

Job Responsibilities:

Work with team members to understand project requirements and to develop the overall design and execution of institutional and retail financial services products
Collaborate with Project Management, Content Analysis, IT, and peers on cross media solutions for client campaigns
Responsible for understanding business requirements and making appropriate recommendations for executing within our product applications
Exhibit critical thinking and analytical problem solving both in troubleshooting production issues as well as in proactively researching, testing, and implementing new product functiona lity within the campaign tools
Mentor team members in all areas of variable data print design
Responsible for engineering/re-engineering and implementing Creative Team processes
Responsible for Creative Team onboard training and representation of Creative in interdepartmental onboard training and campaign tool demonstrations
Provide production support for peers and internal partners as needed
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or Publication Design) with 5-7 years' experience. Variable Data Design required, and Digital Design experience preferred.

Skills/Competencies: The Sr. Cross Media Designer is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, HTML5, Java Script, and Variable Data Document Design and Software (XMPie, Pageflex, Adobe Experience Manager), Pitstop, Distiller, Microsoft Office, and prepress processes. The Sr. Cross Media Designer has expertise in di gital print processes, equipment, and substrates, direct mail/postal requirements and fulfillment processes as well as a working knowledge of the SDLC and development practices. Must possess good time management and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
