We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Scrum Master to lead the Agile development process for our data platform, which is foundational to our accounting and finance team. You will facilitate and optimize the integration and functionality of a platform that connects with hundreds of upstream and downstream applications through real-time, REST APIs, batch processes, and Kafka data streaming technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of Agile practices and excellent organizational skills to manage diverse tasks and teams.

We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you'll be assigned to a Broadridge officeandgiven the flexibility to work from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Agile Processes: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure the team operates efficiently and effectively.
- Collaboration and Communication: Act as a liaison between the development team, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Team Support: Guide and support the development team in building and maintaining the data platform on Snowflake, integrating ETL processes using AWS Glue jobs and Apache Airflow.
- Impediment Removal: Proactively identify and resolve roadblocks, escalating issues to stakeholders when necessary to keep the team moving forward.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team feedback and implementing changes to improve the Agile process and team performance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with finance professionals, data engineers, and other stakeholders to capture requirements and ensure product increments meet business needs.
- Security and Compliance: Support the team in implementing security protocols to meet data governance standards, utilizing Collibra to manage data lineage and quality.
- Monitoring and Observability: Facilitate collaboration with IT and security teams to use Splunk and Datadog for monitoring and improving platform reliability and performance.
- Metrics and Reporting: Track Scrum metrics to provide transparency about team performance and progress to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in a data-driven or technology-focused environment.
- Excellent understanding of Agile principles and practices, with a demonstrated ability to apply them in a data platform context.
- Familiarity with data architecture and platforms, especially Snowflake, AWS services, ETL frameworks, and Apache Airflow.
- Experience working with data integration technologies, including REST APIs, batch processing, Kafka, and related security protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficient in using Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar project management software.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with a focus on coaching and developing team members.
