Who we need

We are seeking an experiencedScrum Masterto join our engineering teams in Dublin, working on Broadridge'sWealth Management solutions. This individual will be a servant leader who facilitates Agile practices, removes impediments, and enables teams to deliver high-quality products aligned with business goals. You will play a central role in helping teams embrace agility, enhancing collaboration, and ensuring consistent delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives, making sure they run effectively and foster continuous improvement.
  • Guide and coach teams in Agile practices: encourage self-organization and cross-functional collaboration while coaching teams on Agile principles and values.
  • Remove impediments and shield the team: proactively identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder progress and protect the team from external distractions.
  • Manage stakeholders and priorities: work with Product Owners to align the backlog with business goals; communicate status, risks and issues to stakeholders.
  • Drive process improvement: promote a culture of continuous improvement by refining team processes, tracking progress toward sprint goals and using Agile metrics for forecasting.
  • Generate Agile Metrics and Reports using Jira and other project management tools.
  • Ensure compliance and risk management: adhere to company frameworks, identify and mitigate risks and maintain delivery governance.
  • Mentor and develop others: provide training on Agile concepts and mentor new Scrum-Masters.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Scrum-Master, ideally leading multiple teams and successfully transitioning them from Waterfall to Agile approaches.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and related tools; ability to estimate, plan and forecast using Agile metrics.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication and conflict-resolution skills; capable of fostering a trusting and transparent work environment.
  • Track record of coaching teams and organizations in Agile practices and encouraging continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, manage multiple stakeholders and adapt to change.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • A min of 5 years of relevant experience in an agile environment.
  • Deep understanding of the Agile methodology and the Scrum framework.
  • Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)).
  • Strong communication skills.
Nice to have:
  • CSM/PSM certification/Safe Scrum Master is plus
  • Experience with other Agile frameworks (e.g., Kanban, XP), Lean principles or scaled frameworks like Nexus (preferred) or SAFe.
  • Additional certifications (e.g., Nexus (preferred) or SAFe, Kanban) and involvement in Agile communities.
  • Experience working with distributed or remote teams and facilitating training workshops
Hybrid Flexible at Broadridge:

We are made up of high-performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you'll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work partially remotely.
