Production Equipment Support Supervisor (Overnights) - Onsite

We're looking for a dynamic individual to join our Production Operations team in El Dorado Hills, CA as our nextSupervisor of Production Equipment Technician Support.This opportunity is in our Customer Communications Solutions division, which offers a full range of multi-channel communications solutions such as integrated print, mail and digital solutions for transactional, marketing and compliance communications. In this role you will provide direction and mechanical support to all production technicians as required. You will supervise all work in progress, ensuring that a constant production workflow is maintained and equipment repairs are completed. You will also maintain our parts inventory for all equipment by providing a complete list of parts to be ordered, including the vendor to be used and the associated cost for each part.

This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time.

Responsibilities:

• Early Week Nights Shift:6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and alternating every other Saturday
• Span of control is approximately 15-20 technicians and all production equipment used by technical support and production operations. Position requires daily communication/ updates with senior management on strategic work scheduling issues.
• Monitor records of preventive maintenance performed on equipment and ensures that the maintenance occurs according to scheduled deadlines.
• Fills in and assumes all Management responsibilities in the Department Manager's absence.
• Accountable to meet or exceed Cost Per Unit targets on his/her shift (i.e. labor costs, overtime, inventory control etc.) Monitors and maximizes machine efficiency.
• Coaches, counsels, motivates, develops, supports, encourages and instructs all Technicians under direct report. Verifies all administrative work is filled out accurately, monitoring and following departmental procedures. Reward, Recognizes and Disciplines associates.
• Maintains all records pertaining to department personnel under individuals report.
• Monitors daily reports on thruput and equipment downtime.
• May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree or Technical/Trade School
• 3 years' min. supervisory experience in a high volume production environment
• 5+ years' experience and a proven proficiency in the operation and repair of production equipment including insertion and bindery equipment, electronic and electric circuit experience necessary.
• Electrical and electronics repair a plus.
• Knowledge, understanding and experience of reporting tools Jet/IQ
• Experienced in Microsoft Office.

The salary range for this position is: $80,000 - $87,000 annual.Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
