Peripheral Operator (On-Site)

Broadridge is hiring! We are seeking a Peripheral Operator to join our team in Edgewood!

This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to set-up, troubleshoots, and operates IBM printing systems as well as peripheral equipment such as cutters and form winders.
• Individual must be able to follow defined operating processes and quality control procedures.
• Working with shift Supervisor, Prod. Coordinator, or Print Lead, prioritize work requests and ensure jobs are printed in priority order.
• Maintains a clean, safe and efficient working environment by following established safety procedures and rules; troubleshooting malfunctions and reporting the need for repairs; keeping equipment, and supplies in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of equipment by following manufacture's recommendations for proper use and operation.
• Maintains confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential, protecting printed documentation per established policies and procedures.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results in a cooperative and supportive manner, assisting associates with projects or administrative work as necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Maintains a clean, organized and safe work environment
• Sound judgment and prioritizing skills; mechanical aptitude; ability to operate large machinery.
• Proficient in English; Spanish communication skills a plus
• Ability to follow defined procedures and adheres to quality standards.
• Self-starter; shows initiative; ability to conduct business in a professional manner.
• Ability to work independently; good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• General PC knowledge to interface with software for job processing and email
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work under tight deadlines

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• 2+ years' experience in related industry/equipment
• Requires reading, analyzing information and implementing solutions.
• Requires standing for long periods of time; stooping and kneeling; handling heavy roll form; lifting to waist up to 40 pounds.
• Wearing of safety shoes mandatory.
• Flexibility in work schedule that is based on Production volumes which could require weekends and holidays
• Promote a professional work environment and adhere to all Broadridge's policies.

Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is $18.00 - $20.70 USD - Bonus Eligible
