- Balancing technology and business issues, as well as communicating appropriately with both technology and business experts

- Conducting technical analysis of business issues and challenges
- Designing data-intensive back-end transactional and analytical data warehouse systems in Greenplum using ETL tools like Informatica Powercenter
- Leading database application development in Greenplum and other relational databases
- Creating data models and diagrams
- Conducting performance tuning and troubleshooting applications
- Acting as liaison and participating in defining technology solutions to solve complex, Multidisciplinary business problems with long-term implications
- Recommending technology solutions to improve business decision-making with a focus on the core systems, technology strategies and standards
- Documenting technical specifications, conversions, upgrades, interfaces, reports, forms and workflows
- Working with the quality assurance to define and execute test scenarios.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years hands on IT experience with ETL tool Informatica Powercenter 10.2 or higher
- SQL/Postgres SQL experience in Greenplum, Oracle, SQL Server
- Unix shell scripting
- Scheduling jobs tools preferably Tivoli or Autosys.
