Broadridge is hiring! We are looking for an experienced Engineer to join our Data Services Team. This individual will be working on new initiatives as well as improving existing process to ensure efficient stability, resiliency, and performance. You will be an instrumental contributor to various AWS projects and leading development efforts in using traditional programming languages (preferably C sharp, Python).

Responsibilities:
Handle a variety of ETL streams using traditional Microsoft technologies, AWS and serverless technologies.
Work closely with other ETL developers, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters

Converting specific business requirements into working solutions
Ensure performance, security, and availability of data services and related components
Work on numerous ETL streams and handle different reporting/extracts requirements.
Effectively collaborate with other team members and partners
Skills and Qualifications
Proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databases
Experience with SQL Server 2012, 2016, 2017
Skilled at optimizing complex SQL statements
Knowledge of standard methodologies when taking care of relational databases
Medium to proficient level with either Python and/or C sharp
Experience with AWS serverless architecture (lambda, glue, step functions and etc) huge plus
Experience with Redshift and/or Athena and/or Dynamo DB a big plus
Experience with GitLab, Jenkins big plus
Capable of solving common database issues
Ability to work and think independently
Some familiarity with SSIS and SSRS a plus.
