- Develops and maintains product roadmap and backlog including client enhancements, regulatory and industry initiatives, and product investments.

Dedicated Point of Contact responsibilities:
- Dedicated point of contact for technical and functional issues within area(s) of responsibility that are raised in Error Escalation. This may include night support calls.
- Managing Shadow open internal issues log for Licensee's reported issues to ensure the timely, accurate and effective resolution.
- Utilize expertise to assist client support, development, and conversions teams with research, documenting, expediting and tracking the progress of issues related to product functionality or requests for Shadow enhancements.
- Attend Customer meetings, as necessary to support Broadridge environments.
- Takes ownership of items impacting assigned responsibilities that are identified from industry/regulatory change management.
- Responsible for ensuring requirements are gathered and prioritized and manages product requirements
- Generate a scope of work, estimates, and BRD/FRD documentation.
- Breakdown development projects into meaningful deliverables
- Attend all applicable Agile meetings which include, but are not limited to sprint meetings, scrum meetings, etc.
- Ensures the customer's and other business stakeholders' needs are conveyed to the development teams
- Understands requirements and ensures completed deliverable functions properly
- Assesses any risks to the deliverables and is responsible for reporting the state of the deliverables to the stakeholders and end users

Work closely with development teams to:
- understand the team's capabilities regarding their ability to meet objectives;
- adeptly describe product features;
- be available for questions and clarifications;
- mentor and coach as necessary;
- assist with building, reviewing and approving test plans
- review and approve customer facing documentation;
- Coach team members (both as individuals and as a team) towards success by working directly with the Scrum Masters, Software Architects, and team members.
- Cultivate a productive dialogue to and from customers/stakeholders
- Negotiate with other Product staff when there are resource conflicts that must resolved. The Lead Product Manager is responsible for advocating for the deliverable which is being impacted due to resource contention.
- Responsible for the coordination of the presentation of completed work at the end of each deliverable to the stakeholders and teams.
- Stay current on industry initiatives, trends or changes and present impact assessment as relates to Broadridge's offerings.

Qualifications:
- BA/S (or equivalent) in Business with a minimum of 7+ years' brokerage business operations or brokerage systems development.
- Subject matter expert in one or more of the following areas: Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Clearance and Settlements, Accounting, P&S, Corporate Actions
- Requires excellent communication (oral, written, standup presentation, developing rapport with internal and external clients), analytical, facilitation and negotiation skills.
- Excellent decision making skills.
- Experience with ShadowSuite a plus.
- Previous experience on vendor side or working with geographically dispersed groups is a plus.
- Certificates or course work in financial products a plus (e.g. MBA, CFA Level I or II, Series 7)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player including facilitating team interaction.
- Possesses understanding in the areas of software development life cycle, database and system design; understanding of technical architecture, messaging and database schema, rudimentary SQL knowledge for testing and reconciliation.
