We are seeking a knowledgeable and collaborative ETL Developer to join our expanding team. In this role, you will design and implement logical and physical data models for enterprise data warehouses, data marts, transactional databases, and advanced data lake solutions. You'll work closely with stakeholders, data engineers, and BI developers to drive performance, scalability, and reliability across our data assets and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements, business processes, and data source systems.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise data warehouses, marts, transactional databases, and data lakes.
- Define and enforce standards for data modeling, metadata, naming conventions, and overall data governance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and optimization of data models with engineering and analytics requirements.
- Optimize data structures for performance, scalability, and reliability across diverse platforms.
- Author and maintain up-to-date documentation, including data models, flows, and data dictionaries.
- Assist with system implementation, data migration, integration efforts, and troubleshooting to resolve data-related issues.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data modeling, database design, or data engineering.
- Expertise with data modeling tools (such as Erwin, ER/Studio, Toad Data Modeler, SQL Server Management Studio, or dbt).
- Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with RDBMS such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Solid understanding of normalization, denormalization, star/snowflake schemas, and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with big data platforms or cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, Azure Synapse, BigQuery) preferred.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and metadata management best practices.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, high-performance data models.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration processes.
- Working knowledge of Python, Scala, or other scripting languages for data integration.
- Experience in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Professional certifications in data management, data modeling, or cloud database services.
