Are you looking for an opportunity with a growing company? Broadridge is hiring! We are seeking a Director, UX Design/Research to join our stellar team in NYC. You will have the opportunity to help develop new, groundbreaking products for our Broadridge Asset Management Group. Does this sound exciting? We'd love for you to apply!

Some day-to-day responsibilities will include conduct and detail qualitative research and data analysis. We translate them into user personas, sitemaps, journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and functional prototypes. We make strategic design decisions related to product experience, and rapidly iterate designs by testing with users to validate assumptions. We collaborate and use teamwork with product managers and software engineers from the discovery phase through the implementation and deployment phase. We maintain the user experience across your product lanes. We work in an Agile software development process, contributing to story and task creation.

Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional experience working in User/Client research, UX Design and usability experience.
- 5+ years of Financial Services experience and supporting enterprise software products.
- Strong communication skills to sell your UX vision to multiple groups and stakeholders.
- Proficient in design software (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision).
- Knowledge of current GUI standards and UX design best practices.
- A strong portfolio of past design projects
- 4-year degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Communication Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript, React is a plus
- Product experience in the financial services industry a plus
- Solid understanding of the complete product development lifecycle and Agile environments (Scrum , Kanban, etc.)
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills. Highly collaborative and eager to engage with others.
