Help inform senior leaders and decision-makers at corporate Issuers, institutional investors, and other key industry practitioners on Broadridge’s role in shareowner communications and proxy processes.
Assist in developing, promoting, and reinforcing industry ideas, values, and best practices that strategically promote Broadridge’s interests, products, and business.
Enhance relationships with leaders at existing clients, build relationships with boards, management, and general counsels/corporate secretaries at public and pre-IPO companies, and cultivate and develop new connections with decision-makers at institutional investors to strategically grow Broadridge’s business.
Identify and assess trends and best practices in corporate governance/ESG, monitor existing and emerging issues pertaining to shareholder proposals and investor engagement, and recommend/help develop forward-looking action plans or governance policies for Broadridge Investor Communications.
Work with key staff and/or partners on Broadridge thought-leadership strategy, collateral, and content development on corporate governance, ESG, and any new market trends.
Assist in planning, coordinating and managing a minimum of eight annual institutional investor and corporate issuer corporate governance regional forums and/or webinars annually, including:
- Domestic Broadridge forums (8 to 10 cities annually)
- International Broadridge Corporate Governance Forums (e.g. Toronto, Vancouver, London)
- Organizing BR hosted sessions at relevant domestic industry associations (e.g. Council of Institutional Investors, Society for Corporate Governance, NIRI, NACD) and/or internationally (e.g. International Corporate Governance Network)
- Represent Broadridge at various industry conferences and events to engage with existing or potential clients, thought leaders, or to explore strategic partnerships or initiatives.
- Conduct satisfaction surveys and collaborate with other departments to ensure client needs are fulfilled effectively as needed.
Collaborate with account managers and keep them informed on any new client developments or relevant market trends.
Seek speaking engagements at industry corporate governance conferences for appropriate Broadridge associates.

Internal & Operational
Assist in planning the internal corporate governance lunch & learn sessions or webinars.
Help facilitate the Independent Steering Committee of Broadridge, with team-members and senior leadership, including meeting schedules, agendas, materials or logistics and updating Committee members on developments impacting the proxy process, markets, or Broadridge.
Develop and implement performance measures/KPIs to evaluate success of on-going projects.
Evaluate the ROI of existing programs, identify any relevant new market opportunities, and assess capacity to undertake new projects or initiatives.
Coordinate with marketing and communications departments to implement social media strategies, develop market awareness, and assist with content dissemination or outreach as needed.
Work collaboratively and coordinate with other departments and colleagues, as needed, to (1) develop strategic plans or align goals (2) share relevant industry developments, best practices, and trends (3) facilitate knowledge transfer to client-facing teams or (4) provide cost-benefit analysis or budget review.
* Administer the requests for proxy data from external researchers for research projects; work with Broadridge Legal Review Committee if Committee approval is necessary.
