Broadridge is seeking an API Gateway Engineer to join our team in a remote capacity on contract basis. Layer7 API Gateway Engineer will be responsible for development, engineering, integration and implementation of single sign-on, provisioning, and federation (SAML) solutions across the Broadridge enterprise. CA Layer7 Gateway is the primary component utilized for engineering, developing, and integrating both internal and client-facing applications under SSO. The Layer7 API Gateway Engineer must have direct hands-on experience in engineering/configuring and implementing Layer7 Gateway API solutions.
Must have direct experience with change management procedures, will be responsible for documenting new development/integration items with detailed technical specifications, will be responsible for testing and validating all development/integration items, will be responsible for migrating integrations/solutions between various Broadridge environments (Dev, Q/A, Prod) during the designated change windows including nights/weekends at times.

As part of these responsibilities the Layer7 API Gateway Engineer will also assist with identifying the scope, strategy, technology, and roadmap for Layer7 solutions. Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting any issues reported with the environment or solution/integration.
The engineer will report to the Director of Layer7 Development, and will work with a team of Engineers/Developers/Project Managers on various projects. The engineer must be experienced in running multiple individual technology projects that converge towards the defined strategic solution. Technology engineer must have experience with business analysis to understand the business requirements and implementation needs for successful implementation of the IDM related technologies.
