Your Purpose:

As a critical member of the Safety & Security team you will help provide a safe and enjoyable environment for yourself and others by monitoring / patrolling our modern stations and by engaging in professional security practices while enforcing rigid procedures to control access. While working in a small team environment and reporting to a Security Manager, you will have high guest interaction and use sophisticated technology to screen traveling guests and their belongings.

Your Role:

  • Vigilance: You are the eyes and ears of our security team. You screen our guests, patrol our stations and are responsible for raising the alarm in the event of suspicious behaviors or unusual situations that may create a security or safety concern at your assigned station. This includes being responsible for calling local authorities, as necessary.
  • De-escalation: Handle and resolve difficult and sensitive guest inquiries and complaints in coordination with other Brightline partners; as well as respond to questions and information requests from guests and outside agencies.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and provide required reports, including investigative documents.

You:

  • You have good listening skills and are able to assess situations quickly and effectively.
  • You have one (1) or more years of experience in a guest facing role / customer service experience.
  • You have superior communication skills and are able to quickly and succinctly share information as needed.
  • You stay cool under pressure and in emergency situations.
  • You are a minimum of 18 years old.
  • You can work shifts which include weekend nights and/or holidays. Shift subject to change.
