Overview
BRICK Education Network separates the core responsibilities of running a school day-to-day into three primary functions: Instruction, Operations, and Social Emotional Learning (SEL).  BRICK Road to Success (BRtS) is a two-generation internal Multi-tiered System of Supports (MTSS) that promotes stability and success in the five life domains: family, education, housing, health and economic mobility.  As part of the school’s Ubuntu Culture and Social-Emotional Learning program, BRICK Road to Success proactively promotes success in a student's academic and social-emotional journey by leveraging their assets, removing barriers to resources and identifying opportunities for development and growth.

Role: Reporting to the BRtS Director, the BRtS Navigator is a member of the BRICK Road to Success Team and engages in cross-disciplinary collaboration to proactively identify, respond to, and mitigate challenges of students at three tiers; 1) the entire student population, 2) targeted groups of students, and/or 3) individual students.  The Navigator is someone who really understands our community, is aware of what resources are available, and can help students and families navigate various systems. Navigators will regularly check in with students and families to facilitate year-long engagement and meet critical academic and social-emotional milestones as well as conduct outreach that bridge services between the school-home-SWPN-community.

Success in this position is measured by the percentage of students establishing and meeting their respective BRICK Road to Success Plan goals related to school attendance, health checks, academic, and social emotional development.
