Marketing at Brex

The Marketing team tells the Brex story, determines messaging and positioning, and translates our products and features into tangible customer benefits. Our marketers — across Revenue Marketing, Product Marketing, and Brand Marketing — are responsible for acquiring new customers and have a deep understanding of the business. What you’ll do

We are seeking a Sr. Marketing Project Manager, who specializes in planning, managing, and executing marketing projects and campaigns, to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in leading effective sprint cycles with a mix of marketing, design, and operations teams, to plan and deliver a variety of projects and campaigns. Experience with documentation of campaign briefs and reporting campaign results is a must. This role requires the ability to adapt quickly to change, prioritize tasks effectively, communicate proactively, and foster collaboration among cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Drive Planning and Manage Execution of all Marketing Projects

  • Facilitate and evaluate new marketing project requests; assess project scope, and identify timing and resources needed
  • Use project management tools (Monday.com) to manage detailed project plans, including timelines and resource requirements for marketing campaigns
  • Own and lead regular stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, project kickoffs, and reviews to keep projects on track and adapt to evolving priorities
  • Continuously monitor project progress, identifying and removing blockers to ensure on-time delivery of marketing initiatives
  • Generate reports to communicate project status, performance metrics, and actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Support preparation of marketing team budgets and track marketing team expenses on a monthly/quarterly basis 

Provide Documentation & Reporting Support for Marketing Campaigns

  • Create detailed campaign and quarterly release project briefs
  • Document target audience criteria, campaign journey maps, and channel plans
  • Track goals and/or key performance indicators (KPIs) for all applicable marketing projects and campaigns
  • Support preparation of regular reports and presentations for monthly performance reviews, quarterly business reviews
  • Conduct regular project and campaign retrospectives to gather cross-functional team feedback and make adjustments to optimize future projects and campaigns 

Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication

  • Promote a culture of transparency and collaboration by proactively facilitating communication and alignment among marketing teams, product owners, and other stakeholders
  • Act as a liaison between marketing and development teams, ensuring a shared understanding of project requirements and priorities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, with a marketing team or for a creative/marketing or digital services agency
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, Jira, or Trello
  • Experience with marketing tools such as Salesforce, Marketo, and Figma
  • Excellent, proactive, and clear communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • A detail-oriented approach to documentation, project planning, tracking, and reporting
  • Adaptability and resilience in the face of change, with a focus on continuous improvement and learning

Compensation

The expected salary range for this role is $105,600 - $132,000. However, the starting base pay will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
