Working Student-Regional Practice Area Marketing

WHAT YOU'LL DO
We are looking for a strong candidate to support the Marketing and Communications Practice Area team with several industry support activities, ranging from digital marketing, stakeholder relationships, and press work to ideating, creating, promoting, and analyzing marketing content across various platforms. You can work up to 20 hours per week during your semesters and up to 40 hours per week during semester breaks. The role offers enough flexibility to combine personal, academic, and professional life. This is a temporary role from at least 12 to a maximum of 24 months. You need to be an enrolled university student in Germany.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

You are currently pursuing a master's degree with outstanding academic performance in STEM subjects, business, or marketing, demonstrating a keen interest in gaining a comprehensive understanding of data and analytics. Prior experience in marketing and data analytics or statistics is preferred.

You display exceptional communication skills in English and German, coupled with strong analytical abilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office, enabling you to analyze and illustrate data, and prepare compelling presentations and reports (Knowledge of Tableau and PowerBI is welcome but not mandatory).

You have proven organizational and project management competencies, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, showcasing attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.

You are creative and independent, with a proven track record of reliability and high ethical standards, capable of maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating a strong service mentality.

You have strong interpersonal skills, with an affinity for technology and innovation in marketing, and you're eager to continuously develop and apply new skills in a fast-paced setting, including an interest in a holistic view of marketing strategies and execution.

YOU'LL WORK WITH
In this role, you will be part of a dedicated and collaborative team based in Germany and Switzerland. The M&C Practice Area Excellence team partners with business leaders to develop account-based marketing plans, magnify BCG's global initiatives and business priorities within local markets, and leverage local insights to enhance the company's activities. Due to our international setting, most of your work will be in English.
