Staffing is a business-critical function at the heart of what we do at BCG. As our new Staffing Specialist, you will be responsible for assigning the right consultants to the right projects and clients. You will be part of the staffing team at BCG Helsinki, and together we strive for excellence in all staffing processes towards internal staff and the partner group. We work in close collaboration with the full Nordic Staffing team, and you will actively contribute to solve the staffing puzzle across BCG Nordics. Furthermore, the role includes:

Working together with your fellow staffers and our Business Director to achieve optimal deployment of consultants to Helsinki-based and Nordic projects and business development work
Working together with our partner group to maintain an overview of upcoming projects and expected staffing requirements
Planning and monitoring our consultants' availability
Matching business priorities and case demand for staff with the individual consultants' development needs and staffing preferences
Communicating staffing decisions to our consultants and being their contact person in staffing related matters
Participating in our weekly pulse check calls and following up with our consultants on their case experience and well being
Participating in career development meetings to understand the strengths and development needs in upcoming staffing for our consultants
Managing and updating staffing information in relevant systems: Trello, BCG's internal staffing tool (SAM), SharePoint, and others
Supporting staff analyses and ensuring smooth communication with all stakeholders involved: consulting staff, Finance, Nordic HR, and Global Staffing
YOU'RE GOOD AT
You are able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a flexible approach, quickly adapting to new circumstances, priorities, and ideas
You structure, plan and prioritize work and projects effectively, while being diligent and detail-oriented
You prioritize high-level customer service and effectively manage and meet customer expectations with responsiveness, initiative, and an orientation towards service and broader business needs

You actively listen to others while possessing the ability to deliver tough messages in an assertive and constructive way
You maintain the highest degree of confidentiality
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
We encourage applicants both with and without work experience to apply; the most important qualification is eagerness and willingness to learn.
You probably have a bachelor's or master's degree in HR or an equivalent field, but your professional experience, drive, and track record is what really interests us
You are PC proficient, especially in MS Office, (PowerPoint and Excel in particular), and experience with Slack and Trello is an advantage
You are fluent in English - both verbally and in writing
