Practice Area Profile

BGC's Risk & Compliance Practice Area (R&C) offers state-of-the-art Compliance, ESG, and regulatory risk management solutions. Our team is dedicated to support our clients in developing a strategy for identifying and managing compliance, anti-financial crime, anti-corruption & bribery, sanctions, fraud, human rights and environmental risks. We work with leaders in various industries and seek to marry effectiveness and efficiency by focusing on the fundamental economics of their businesses and the underlying needs of their customers. Our Practice Area completed 100+ programs in recent years, including design, steering and implementation and created impact aligned with our values and leading with integrity approach.
What You'll Do

BCG is looking for Project Leaders in the field of risk and compliance, with a focus on nonfinancial risk (e.g., anti-financial crime, anti-corruption and bribery, sanctions and fraud, human rights, and supply chain due diligence). As a Project Leader, you will partner with clients across industries to take on their most difficult challenges, transform mindsets, create outstanding value, and build capabilities that enable organizations to achieve sustainable advantage. You will be a core member of BCG's Risk & Compliance practice, working alongside some of the world's top minds in this space. You will also contribute significantly to the development of our compliance, ESG, and regulatory risk management topics and support our ambitious growth targets.

What you will do in the Group

Your primary focus will be on your position as a risk and compliance thought leader, driving client discussions and projects, and leading our diverse cross-functional and cross-industry project teams.
You'll play a key role in expanding our risk and compliance topic landscape through case execution and client development.
You'll execute or provide expertise and support on our global projects such as preventive actions, crisis management and remediation, or optimization and digitalization for our key clients worldwide.
You'll contribute to BCG's risk and compliance content development, including client surveys, industry benchmarks, AI- and agile-driven ways of working, and more.
You'll collaborate closely with BCG and client project teams, bringing expertise to the team and to the client on site.
You'll provide mentorship and support to consultants to ensure their continuous individual development.

What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

You have either spent a minimum of 5 years at a top-tier consulting firm working in the field of Risk & Compliance or have gained substantial experience in the industry.
You have worked in the industry and/or top management consulting and can demonstrate impressive results from prior projects to improve or transform.
Your deep knowledge allows you to analyze and interpret data through a business and economic lens, and to successfully advise international clients.
You are an active contributor to the industry, such as through your participation in associations, publications, or your passion about topics in this space
* You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English, in addition to strong presence, team spirit, and leadership skills.
