Learning and Development Specialist-Coaching and Mental Health (18- month contract)

WHAT YOU'LL DO
The ongoing professional development of our consultants is very important to us at BCG. As a dynamic and highly organized Learning & Development Specialist, you and the other members of the team comprise an in-house service department that provides our consultants with the best possible training and coaching support in terms of organization and content throughout their careers at BCG. In this role, which is a fixed-term position for 18 months, you will play a key part in guiding our consultants through their training and coaching journeys at BCG

You will support the Coaching and Mental Health Initiatives for our consultants in Central Europe (CE). You will be responsible for supervising the coaching process of our junior cohorts, including obtaining feedback, identifying any need for action and making suggestions for optimization. You'll also support in searching for new coaches for our coach pool. You will shoulder responsibility for planning, organizing, and supervising our mental health training courses. In doing so, you'll organize the training processes and manage confirmations and cancelations.

You will work on various internal HR projects such as our Mental Health Initiative and support internal CE-wide communications. You'll contribute ideas for designing additional mental health initiatives. You will support Coaching and Mental Health within BCG in terms of its look and feel (e.g., L&D microsite and lock screen). You will also support our external trainers and coaches in terms of contracting. You'll be in charge of checking invoices and independently handling monthly budget controlling and annual provisions, preparing meaningful statistics and reports for that purpose. Your affinity for data will enable you to enter, process, and manage data in our database, in PowerPoint, and in Excel, and to support in preparing presentations. You will also act as an interface to other internal departments (e.g., Talent Management Unit, HR Strategy, HR Operations, and HR Legal).

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

You have a bachelor's or master's degree.

In addition, you have initial professional experience in HR, preferably in learning and development.

Profound knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint-any other analytics skills are advantageous.

Your written and spoken German and English language skills are excellent.

YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will report to the Central European L&D Senior Manager and work closely with our CE L&D team spread across four countries, various HR departments, such as the Talent Management Unit, the HR Strategy Team, external stakeholders.
