Knowledge Analyst - Financial Institutions

WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Knowledge Analyst (KA) within BCG's Financial Institution Practice Area, you will work in a growing and entrepreneurial global team, providing industry expertise and insights, whilst working together with BCG teams to provide expert advisory, industry analysis and develop knowledge assets. You will serve as a thought partner and content expert to BCG case teams (client projects and proposals) and the wider BCG topic network, helping structure and solve complex issues. The main responsibility will be to work with case teams on expert research and deliver original analysis and insights on the Asset & Wealth Management industry.

In addition, you will support with guidance from senior colleagues BCG's Asset & Wealth Management Sector team in developing intellectual property & knowledge assets and managing content on internal BCG websites, ensuring availability of latest, high-quality content. You will support commercialization efforts for the business, contributing to marketing efforts, conferences, and publications.

YOU'RE GOOD AT
• Applying Industry expertise when contributing to building and deploying data and analysis, taking different Asset & Wealth Management client contexts into account

• Solving client problems through framing, structuring, and formulating relevant research and analytical approaches

• Working creatively and analytically rigor in a time-limited, problem-solving environment

• Flexibility and bringing a curious and creative mindset, open for new things and able to propose innovative ideas

• Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity, and manage multiple parallel tasks

• Working collaboratively and effectively in a global group dynamic often virtual, proficient in agile ways of working

• Interacting with internal and external stakeholders and communicating with senior stakeholders, in a credible, proactive, and confident way

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
• 1-2 years of work experience in the Asset/Investment Management industry required

• Strong knowledge of the Asset/Investment Management industry and understanding of the wider financial services sector

• Familiarity with European Private Banking/Wealth Management sector beneficial

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

• Fluency in English with effective written and verbal communication skills; German highly beneficial

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The Knowledge Team (KT) is a group of functional and/or industry experts leveraging deep domain knowledge to enable insight for case teams and clients. KT members are affiliated to BCG Practice Areas, plugged into the strategic agenda and building and deploying leading edge IP data tools/assets to deliver insight.

BCG's Knowledge Team members have the opportunity to be staffed on cases and help co-create insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivery of proprietary data or tools in a particular function and complex research and analysis of market information. KT members also support the PA's business development and proposals and help to organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business value for its clients.
