HR Operations Junior Specialist (13 months contract)

WHAT YOU'LL DO
We have an opening for a flexible, dynamic G&A HR Operations Junior Specialist to join our G&A HR Services Team starting latest July 2024 (temporary position for 13 months). In this role, you'll support all operational and administrative HR processes along the employee journey (e.g., providing administrative support for employee on- and offboarding, issuing contracts, amendments, and certificates, handling benefits administration, and maintaining personnel files and our HR system in the three topic clusters Lifecycle, Benefits & Development, and Absence & Mobility). As our team is new and being ramped up in the months to come, you will also help us set up a fully functioning and efficient HR unit.

The field of activities within our G&A HR Operations team is as diverse as our employees. With your professional and above-average service mindset, you will act as a direct contact for employees and other HR teams, assisting them with frequently asked general questions such as regarding part-time work, maternity/parental leave, and changes in personal information or status, in addition to employees' individual questions. You'll perform the above-mentioned tasks with the support of and in close collaboration with the colleagues in your team and the Centers of Expertise. You'll also be responsible for correctly entering and maintaining information in our HR system (Workday), ensuring that this is done within the required time and at the highest quality. For selected processes with shared unit responsibility, you'll collaborate closely with other HR units to ensure that respective employee requests are handled to our internal clients' satisfaction.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

You have successfully completed a (vocational) college degree, ideally with a focus on human resources.
First experience in HR-preferably in the fields of HR operations, HR service, or HR administration-in medium-sized and large matrix organizations in a service-oriented work environment are a plus.
You have comprehensive knowledge in Austrian HR work.
You have a good sense and understanding of processes, numbers, and data.
Experience working with cloud-based HR tools (Workday) is a plus.
You have experience using the MS Office package.
Your written and spoken German and English language skills are excellent.
