Global L&D Learner Portfolio Senior Manager

WHAT YOU'LL DO
The continuous development and growth of our people is key part of BCG's People Promise and one of the highest priorities at BCG. As the Global Learner Portfolio Senior Manager for the Enterprise Services organization, you will be responsible for the roadmap, development, delivery, and continuous improvement of role-based learning journey for operational (Core Staff) and management (MSD) employees across Enterprise Services.

Enterprise Services was set up in 2022 to provide resilient, scalable and cost-competitive services to BCGers around the world. It includes a range of business-critical activities including Global Finance Operations, Procurement & Payables, Travel, Meetings & Events, Case Team Services, ClientView, Real Estate, Executive Support Services, and Business Insights and Analytics; supported by transversal expertise in our product portfolios and excellence functions. Approximately 70% of Enterprise Services employees are located in Delhi, with smaller concentrations in London, Boston, Madrid and Munich.

In this role, you will be delivering and embedding innovative and relevant learning solutions that align with Enterprise Services' vision & objectives.

You will partner with function stakeholders to identify and prioritize learning needs and gaps aligned with business need, while cultivating a culture of learning.
You will propose the optimal learning design for the need, challenging traditional thinking and pushing for creative solutions.
You will define, prioritize, and deliver role-based learning, measuring impact, and managing the overall development investment.
Throughout, you will work very closely with the L&D teams across shared priorities to build consistency, reduce duplication and create and deliver solutions in support of BCG's overall learning agenda.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

Acting as a learning business partner to key stakeholders, using a performance consulting approach to develop capability/learning strategies that are clearly aligned to and support the business objectives, and design solutions that are relevant, prioritized, aligned to talent needs, built quickly, and delivered to truly impact business performance.
Build strong partnerships with business leaders to understand their learning needs and ensure targeted solution development. Dive in to quickly learn about learners' goals and challenges, their work environment, and learning styles.
Leverage data driven approaches to recommend, design and deploy learning and performance solutions. Use rapid design and distribution methods (virtual, classroom, blended and multi-media) that best suit business needs and which tangibly and positively affect performance.
Communicate plans and insights to gain support for solutions, measurement, and evaluation plans.
Partnering with SMEs, learning, talent and HR teams and other internal stakeholders to assess training needs and select the right process, structure, technology, and delivery formats to suit your learning goals.
You have a passion for learning and development. To you, innovative learning and using the L&D technologies and new L&D settings are especially important.
You enjoy collaborating with people from different geographies with diverse backgrounds. You are good at influencing both internal and external stakeholders, including senior stakeholders, with your confident, competent, and convincing demeanor plus your above-average service orientation.
You enjoy performing in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment and managing tight timelines and deliverables across multiple projects and teams while staying true to BCG's values and culture.
You impress with your effective communication skills, and you manage potential conflicts, easily deescalating them with your tact.
Your analytical ability enables you to measure the impact of your projects and drive decisions based on data.
You are comfortable working with ambiguity and motivated to take the driver's seat even though sometimes roles & responsibilities are not clearly defined.
You enjoy working within a complex matrix structured organization; experience working in a decentralized, hybrid working environment is preferred.
You are dynamic, dependable, collaborative, and motivated, and keep a cool head even in demanding situations.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Required:

A strong track record of rapidly developing and delivering tailored learning & development solutions for employees in operational roles with a relentless emphasis on service excellence.
A proven ability to succeed in a consensus-driven, intellectually intense and matrix-structured environment.
Several years of experience in a global role, reporting to a leader located in a different region.
Experience of team-working with colleagues from different parts of the world, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and an ability to develop relationships in a virtual context.
Strong academic background
Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills. Effective at building trust & credibility with senior leaders.
Structured thinking and the intellectual capability to translate ideas into a coherent proposal.
PowerPoint skills that enable you to put together training material in an innovative, compelling and highly polished manner.
Clear, concise verbal communication skills, with absolutely fluency in English. Excellent presentation skills, both in person and in a virtual setting.
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, coupled with skills & drive to progress initiatives with minimal oversight.
Ability to lead L&D pieces of work in a timely manner whilst keeping stakeholders engaged & informed.
Excellent facilitation skills, with experience of delivering interactive in-person and virtual training with groups of varying sizes and seniority
You bring experience in performance consulting, training needs analysis, designing and developing learning solutions, and deep knowledge about current developments in the L&D space, methods, and tools.
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information, verbally and in writing, concisely and in a manner, which drives people to act.
Demonstrated ability to influence others and execute in a customer-centric manner.

You have proven experience of working in a global environment and managing a complex stakeholder network.

You are fluent in the English language - oral and written.

Preferred:

You are a college graduate and have at least 7-10 years of relevant work experience. Advanced degree in a relevant field such as business, education, organizational development, etc. is preferred
Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, Slack, Trello, SharePoint, and Learning Management Systems is preferred.
