WHAT YOU'LL DO
You are a key member of the Office Experience team responsible for the staff and visitor experience at BCG's flagship office in Boston. Serving as the first point of contact for clients and visitors to the BCG office, the Concierge Assistant is valued as the "Chief of First Impressions". In addition to guest management, you will triage meeting support requirements including conference and guest spaces and perform other administrative tasks as necessary.

Working in a very tight knit, feedback-oriented, collaborative team setting.

Being a focal point of contact (POC) for the office and being able to direct and facilitate internal and external inquiries in line with office policies

Coordinating meeting support, acting as primary POC for meeting organizers and communicating and delegating meeting needs to appropriate teams (i.e. Office Services, Catering, IT, Events, Building Security & Management), ensuring day-of is smoothly executed.

Written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Executing detail-oriented tasks with accuracy and efficiency

Flexibly moving between proactive and reactive mode with the ability to make sound decisions in a timely manner

Demonstrating critical thinking and interpersonal skills in an environment that requires juggling competing priorities among a variety of stakeholders

Setting up a high standard of hospitality by providing guidance to colleagues and visitors in a concierge setting, rather than that of a traditional reception desk

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Openness and receptiveness to meeting new people - culturally sensitive and have a passion for making guests and colleagues feel at home and welcome with a sense of pride

High emotional intelligence and ability to control emotions, remain patient, and maintain service-oriented behavior while working efficiently in stressful situations

Ability to maintain confidentiality and display professional behavior at all times

Strong organizational and process management skills and are comfortable with multi-tasking and prioritizing within a fast-paced, demanding environment

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience

1 - 3 years of experience in a professional environment - concierge experience in a hospitality setting preferred

Proficient computer skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook - willingness to learn new systems as relevant to the needs of the operation

YOU'LL WORK WITH
Our business management and operations team members work to ensure that BCG is running smoothly, efficiently, and productively. We are made up of executive and administrative (or case team) assistants, visual service artists, receptionists, facilities staff, and the team leaders and office coordinators who manage these operations and business management jobs.
