CG's Business Intelligence and Analytics (BI&A) Services Hub is a centralized global reporting and analytics capability. BI&A greatly enhances how our management consumes and uses information to deliver better business outcomes. This team is an integral part of BCG's Global Enterprise Services providing insights & analysis supported by meaningful and accurate information to help guide and influence the decision-making process.
As a Senior Analyst, this role demands an experienced and ambitious professional with a specialized background in reporting and analysis. Crucially, this position requires a proactive individual who can enhance our governance frameworks by translating analytical insights to proposals on actionable strategies. Responsibilities encompass comprehending and addressing the reporting needs essential for finance controls governance, crafting these metrics and reports, and owning their maintenance alongside on-demand analysis.

Initially focusing on understanding, building, and maintaining reports to cater to finance controls governance, the role will evolve to collaborating closely with leadership, the financial controls team and the Procurement team. Moreover, the role demands a keen eye for detail and innovation, driving process enhancements through advanced digital reporting and analytics tools. This will include working in close partnership with the Supplier Data Steward and the Data team to ensure that all reporting is aligned to our Supplier Data strategy, and incorporated into our supplier master data management and data cube to further enrich the intelligence and insight presented to the business.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

Data & Analytics Proficiency
Demonstrated experience in leveraging data & analytics for informed decision-making and enhancing business intelligence
Working with both structured and unstructured data to gain the necessary data quality
Excellent excel skills along with capability of designing and storytelling through PowerPoint.
Defining, designing and reporting on KPIs and operating metrics in partnership with the business stakeholders/subject matter experts.

Technical Skills
Outstanding ability to design easy to understand, engaging and dynamic reports/ dashboards.
An expert in using visualization & analytics tools (such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau) to create
Ideally, some knowledge of master data management and data enrichment

Financial Controls, Procurement & Supplier Management
Ideally have some experience in either finance controls, risk management compliance, operations reporting or governance.
Preferably, possessing a knowledge in procurement, third party risk management or supplier management.

Problem solving and analytical tasks
Ability to structure hypothesis, build thoughtful analyses, develop underlying data models and bring clarity to previously undefined problems.
Desire and flexibility to work through big data sets with keen attention to accuracy and interdependencies
Comfortable working with ambiguity, complex and in an iterative environment
Identify and support process improvement within the team or in cross functional initiatives.

Communication, interpersonal and teaming skills
Strong customer focus and stakeholder management
Ability to perform effectively under pressure and changing situations with tact, poise, and patience.
Demonstrates persistence to drive change. Contributes to a positive and productive work environment.
Works positively and collaboratively with others and within team; builds strong and lasting relationships .

Work Management, organization, and planning
Must be able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment.
Strong organizational and process management skills
Ability to contribute to multiple work streams at once and prioritize efforts accordingly.
Demonstrates good judgment and seeks assistance as appropriate in day-to-day operations
Familiarity or willingness to work on Agile methodology will be a plus, and to bring a continuous improvement mindset

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

More than 5 years of relevant experience in data and analytics
Strong qualifications in data analysis or data science, and visualization or workflow
MBA or equivalent from a premier institute
Strong problem solving & analytical skills
Excellent communication skills; written and oral
Flexible to work across global time zones
* Proven ability to work effectively in a global environment with people at all levels, preferably in a professional services organization

YOU'LL WORK WITH
As a member of the Business Intelligence Team, you will interact extensively with a diverse range of stakeholders from across the business, both geographically and functionally. This includes, but is not limited to local, regional, global teams including Finance, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Procurement.
