BCG X Finance Operations Analyst

New Delhi, India

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Manage accounting of revenue and costs and ensure governance in financial processes
Own, manage and maintain project, vendor and product database in financial systems
Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Timesheet corrections and transfers (X Delivery)
Weekly analysis of vendor timesheets and asset fees and booking of revenue across multiple offices
Owning and responding as first line of control for BCG X Finance Operations mailbox
Supporting on review of vendor contracts, asset fee contracts and ensuring that we have right revenue and cost in the books
Support on week close and month close related accounting activities

Supporting accounting team on transition of financial operations of BCG X from Oracle to SAP
Ensure that revenue and costs of the business are recorded in line with applicable accounting standards and booked in timely and accurate manner
Capture any revenue or cost leakages and bring consistency and predictability in financial operations
Ensure that BCG X is able to recover full value of the efforts, which business teams are making thru the year, via following right accounting approach and processes
Partner with business to simply the processes and workstreams and still keeping transparency in the accounting

YOU'RE GOOD AT

Strong analytical and presentation skills

Advanced technical skills with proficiency in desktop applications, power point/advanced excel, financial systems.

Solid business partner with the ability to dialogue, communicate at all levels

Strong communication skills both written and oral

Trustworthy, able to be deal with confidential information.

Systems experience preferred: Hyperion, Oracle, Business Objects, SAP and other comparable systems.

Adaptable to change management and open to multi-tasking in a complex working environment.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Basic finance and accounting knowledge
Chartered Accountant or equivalent/ MBA (Finance)
3+ years of experience in accounting including US GAAP
