Department & Team Overview
The Digital Partner Ecosystem (DPE) department focuses on engaging partners through digital marketing channels to enhance their use of our platform and foster business growth across all lifecycle stages. This directly contributes to our company's top-line results. The DPE department provides personalized commercial advice through scaled channels, inspires, educates, and informs partners via our platforms and channels, and offers self-support through our content.
The DPE teams focus on engaging with all accommodation partners globally, both existing and prospective, through various digital channels. This includes developing and executing digital strategies such as content marketing, product marketing, and go-to-market initiatives.
Role Overview
Working within the team managing the infrastructure and user experience of the Partner Hub website, the Senior Specialist Platform Experience will be responsible for improving the performance of the Hub owning the Analytics and Experimentation backlogs, as well as leading optimization projects. Their goal is to empower data-driven decision-making and experimentation, and to support the creation of a stable and user-friendly platform that benefits both partners and the business - measured by increased self-service usage, commercial impact, and partner satisfaction.
The Senior Specialist is responsible for the planning, delivery, and evaluation of digital projects, ensuring they adhere to team standards, meet agreed deadlines, and stay within budget. This role demands strong communication and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to oversee multiple projects while maintaining alignment across various teams and vendors.
A crucial aspect of this position is a strong technical acumen. This is vital for making well-informed decisions, effectively collaborating with development teams, comprehending the complexities of digital platforms, and adeptly troubleshooting issues as they emerge.
Key Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Backlog ownership: Manage the creation and maintenance of dashboards that visualize and track key metrics, ensuring stakeholders have access to timely, accurate and relevant performance data. Manage the tooling that allows for additional data collection and experimentation, and the delivery of the respective backlogs.
- Project Management: Lead projects, ensuring alignment with stakeholder goals and partner needs while managing technical implications and barriers. This involves fostering collaboration and alignment across teams, communicating outcomes and learnings to stakeholders, and validating and monitoring project results to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaboration & Project execution: Work closely with the Digital Partner Content teams, other cross functional teams and Vendor(s) to ensure timely delivery, while fostering a collaborative supportive environment.
This can include the writing of stories and acceptance criteria that will then be assigned to a Sprint. - Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for your projects. Facilitate and participate in regular meetings, provide updates on status, and address any concerns that arise from development teams but also non-technical stakeholders.
- Documentation: Maintain project and platform documentation, including plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.
Document lessons learned and best practices for future work. - Vendor/budget management: Ensure smooth invoice process and support the positive relationships with technology vendors, fostering collaboration and communication to achieve mutual goals.
Role Qualifications and Requirements
- Familiarity with analytics platforms, A/B testing frameworks, experimentation tooling, and KPI dashboard solutions.
- Capable of managing data collection, analysis, and experimentation backlog delivery in a SaaS or web-platform context.
- Understanding of platform stability, scalability, and support needs, with a focus on preemptive issue identification and resolution.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and execute multiple digital projects simultaneously, ensuring effective planning and on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Experience with collaborating across cross-functional teams, external vendors, and technical/development teams.
- Strong background in facilitating data-driven decision-making and supporting measurable business and user outcomes (e.g., self-service usage, commercial KPIs, partner satisfaction).
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand, communicate, and troubleshoot digital platforms and infrastructure.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences and aligning diverse stakeholder groups.
