Senior Revenue Integrity Analyst, Cars

About the role:

Booking.com is the world's largest car rental platform featuring car rental in more than 60'000 locations in 160 countries. Our product is available to our global customer base via desktop, mobile and app and under 2 consumer brands: Booking.com and Rentalcars.com, our dedicated car rental platform. In addition to our consumer brands we also power the car rental business for our many affiliate partners including some of the world's leading airlines and online travel agencies.

This role will additionally be responsible for working alongside other members of Revenue Management to deliver the broader Revenue management vision, with a cross-functional team scope. The accountability is for ~2m revenue saving per annum, and the main metric will be revenue saved.

Purpose:
  • Resolve opportunities to prevent revenue leakage..
  • Work with cross-functional teams to determine size of issues and the opportunities to fix them.
  • Analyze multiple data sources to determine value from resolving a given issue.
  • Expertly report to stakeholders at all levels on the progress and status of various projects.
  • Ensure reliable and suitable reporting and tracking processes are implemented to avoid the issue resurging in future.
Tasks and Responsibilities

Project Management
  • Work with and lead projects across different business functions
  • Consider differing views and fairly take them into account
  • Have a detailed understanding of how monies move through the business to identify potential opportunities for failure and financial loss.
  • To deliver assigned key objectives and support / lead (where required) on longer term department projects.
Delivering the Numbers
  • Analysing data sets to highlight areas worthy of exploration.
Internal Relationships
  • Partner with Finance, Marketing, Supply Management and others
  • Advance and present ideas and concepts to external departments
  • Provides support and analysis on projects to the wider RM team.
Innovation
  • Adopt and support a culture of continuous improvement in analytical capabilities, processes, ways of working, tools and technology.
Compliance
  • Adheres to all relevant regulations, standards and directives from regulatory agencies, governmental bodies, and third parties across all processes.
Teamwork and personal development
  • Work as part of a team to deliver objectives and act as a role model for ethics, behaviours and what we value.
  • Take ownership for own development with preparation for 121s and PDPs and participation in courses that support development needs.
  • Ability to train and develop new starters in the team and represent RM values and practices across all departments.
Requirements for this role :
  • Strong commercial awareness & revenue management experience.
  • Tenacity to work in a fast paced, online environment.
  • Confident and analytical approach to problem solving and decision making.
  • Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with internal teams and departments.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as work independently.
  • Self-motivated with a positive outlook and a hard-working approach to work.
  • Effective organisation and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of the travel industry or car hire is advantageous.
