The Role

As Senior Financial Analyst, EMEA, you play a pivotal part in supporting financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for the region. Reporting to the Senior Manager FP&A, ABU Forecasting and Business steering with a dotted line to the Senior Manager FP&A Regional performance, you will own forecasting and modelling for key EMEA initiatives, analyze contribution margin and P&L drivers, and proactively surface insights that inform strategic decision-making. In partnership with local and global FP&A colleagues, you'll embed regional specifics into our global view, drive continuous improvement in the accuracy of our unit economics, and support the development of robust business cases for EMEA investments.

You'll collaborate closely with commercial teams, operations, and other business partners-ensuring EMEA priorities are articulated in budgets, forecasts, and strategy processes. This role balances deep-dive financial modelling with hands-on, business-facing support, and will require confident presentation of findings to leadership.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Own financial forecasting and modelling for core EMEA initiatives-including scenario planning and target setting for the region.
  • Deliver monthly analysis, reporting, and deep dives on the EMEA P&L, with a focus on margin improvement opportunities and critical KPIs.
  • Drive the quarterly forecasting cycle of ABRN EMEA and drive standardization in line with global and regional intiatives
  • Analyze margin gaps, investment returns, and efficiency opportunities across the EMEA business.
  • Improve accuracy of unit economics, allocation methodologies, and data sources for better contribution margin reporting.
  • Build and review business cases for EMEA investments or new market entries, providing clear ROI analysis and decision support.
  • Conduct regular competitor benchmarking and performance assessments, presenting actionable insights to regional leaders and the FP&A LT.
  • Develop and continuously enhance regional dashboards and reporting frameworks to ensure leaders have the information necessary to steer the business.
  • Support EMEA-related presentations for business reviews (QBRs/MBRs) and respond to ad hoc analysis requests from the business and leadership as needed.
  • Collaborate with global FP&A, CoGO, and other regional analysts to share best practices and ensure process consistency where possible.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or another related discipline (preferred).
  • 3-5+ years' experience in a similar financial analysis or FP&A role, ideally in a matrixed/global environment.
  • Strong financial modelling, data analysis, and scenario planning skills.
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex data and deliver clear, actionable commercial insights.
  • High attention to detail, but able to see the bigger picture and connect multiple data sources.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to present insights to different audiences, including senior leaders.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with SQL, financial reporting, or business intelligence tools is a plus.
  • Strong team-working skills with ability to operate both collaboratively and independently.
  • Ability to influence and challenge business stakeholders and drive improvements in reporting and processes.
