About The Role

We are looking for a SoD Manager. This role combines both operational management and strategic aspects. As part of this role you will be responsible for managing a team based out of India, who is managing the SoD process and control execution as part of business as usual. Additionally, we aspire to drive a significant improvement in the way we manage our SOD process overall in the company and the SOD manager will be in the forefront of driving this end to end, from building the strategy and roadmap with Risk & Controls leadership through the execution.

To be successful in this position, it will require a dynamic personality and ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment. Furthermore, the SoD Manager should be able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, be able to balance multiple competing priorities, and strive for continuous improvement to drive beneficial business outcomes.

B. responsible: key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to :
  • Advance and drive simplification and effective management of SOD risks in a dynamic and complex technical landscape
  • Manage & develop a team directly working on SoD control execution, overseeing their day-to-day work and actively supporting their professional development
  • Lead SoD process automation and design & implement SoD preventative solutions
  • Engage with all levels of stakeholders to help to manage and address their SoD risks
  • Consult in role design and maintenance to ensure SoDs are evaluated early in a system's lifecycle
  • Drive the evaluation of options to automate the SoD conflicts analysis and control execution, including support of applications integration process
  • Manage quarterly SoD certifications with respective risk owners
  • Coordinate audit activities including support to close any control deficiencies identified
  1. skilled:

The ideal candidate will have:
  • a strong background in IT & Business Risk Management, IT Frameworks, Governance and Controls, Segregation of Duties
  • 7+ years of experience gained within SoD, security, compliance, internal controls, and/or audit, including experience leading teams in an international environment
  • Experienced in developing a team in remote locations
  • Was part or had experience with SOD transformation projects
  • Practical experience with ERP (SAP S/4 HANA and SAP ECC preferred) systems
  • Practical experience with other SAP technologies (e.g., HANA DB, GRC, Security Weaver) is a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of SOx
  • Good understanding of overall business processes, specifically record to report (R2R), procure to pay (P2P), order to cash (OTC), treasury, HR & Payroll processes
  • Strong stakeholder management skills (risk/function owners, auditors)
  • Ability to multitask and successfully manage multiple priorities and projects
  • Creativity and ability to realize solutions to complex or challenging scenarios
  • Ability to influence and get buy-in with stakeholders and dependent functions
  • Strong work ethic, enthusiastic, self-starting, adaptable and enjoys change in a super engaged team
  • Independent and autonomous, while still a strong team player
  • Fully comfortable working in English, both written and spoken
  • Professional certification, such as CPA/ACCA/CISA/CIA (or similar), would be an advantage
  • Bachelor degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g. Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Security, Business, Audit)
