Director of Product, Order Platform & Trip Management

Yesterday Amsterdam, Netherlands

Director of Product - Order Platform & Trip Management

At Booking.com, we're transforming the way millions of travelers plan, book, and manage their journeys. Behind the scenes, our platforms need to be just as seamless, powerful, and inspiring as the experiences we create for our customers.

As Director of Product, you will play a pivotal role in the ongoing Marketplace transformation, sitting at the crossroads of traveler experience and the platforms that power it. You'll lead teams building our Order Platform - the backbone for reservations and trip services - and our Trip Management products, which empower travelers to view, manage, and enhance their bookings with ease.

This role is about impact across horizons: delivering immediate improvements in traveler experience (self-serve, reduced contact rates), laying mid-term foundations (scalable abstractions, platform maturity), and investing in longer-term innovation (AI-first, proactive trip support). You'll be the strategic connector, aligning customer outcomes with business value, even when the data are imperfect. AI-first product innovation will be a core expectation, ensuring we rethink and reimagine customer experiences end-to-end.

Role Summary

The Director of Product for Order Platform & Trip Management is responsible for defining and executing the product strategy for two critical areas at Booking.com:

This role sits within the Marketplace department, which owns the customer entry points into CS such as the Help Center and AI Trip Support. Customer Service owns the operations and agent tooling, making close collaboration critical to ensure seamless experience for customers.

This role oversees multiple product tracks (Amsterdam, Manchester, and Shanghai) and leads a team of product managers and cross-functional partners. The Director will also drive the conception and delivery of AI-first, end-to-end solutions that span Trip Management, Order Platform adoption.
