Role Description:

The Connectivity Partner Growth Lead is a key role within the Connectivity Ecosystem track, part of the ABU Commercial Growth division.

This role owns a strategically important business area and is responsible for creating and managing scalable, self-service initiatives that enable our technology providers and connected accommodations to grow. You will drive their success across all lifecycle stages and foster a thriving, successful partnership.

As the Partner Growth Lead, you will be accountable for defining the annual strategy and go-to-market roadmap for key business development initiatives across different partner segments. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Setting yearly objectives and defining success metrics.
  • Developing and launching new commercial & educational initiatives for partners.
  • Managing partner investment funds and marketing campaigns.
  • Ensuring the successful achievement of all defined goals.

A primary objective for this role is to elevate the quality and scale of our API integrations with technology providers. You will champion our vision of creating a "Seamless Experience" for our mutual accommodation partners. To achieve this, you will be responsible for the end-to-end strategy that ensures our partners are made aware of, educated on, activated with, and incentivized to build and maintain all the integrations we consider foundational to this experience.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties



- Develop and run a yearly go-to-market strategy & plan for growing one of Connectivity's key commercial business topics
- Responsible for defining the connectivity objective for the business topic, continuously adjusting plans based on changing requirements, and support others in understanding the case for change, highlighting roles and responsibilities
- Continuously contribute to the Connectivity's goals by identifying future directions for the business topic and priorities that align with the overall business strategy
- Continuously identify and drive initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, re-prioritising tasks when beneficial
- Hold relevant stakeholders accountable to outcomes by understanding dependencies, asking questions and providing feedback that further drives performance
- Responsible for analyzing the connectivity market, evaluating our customer (provider) experience, anticipate on their needs and act to enhance the delivery of new programme products, services or initiatives
- Define a yearly marketing roadmap and manage ongoingly the roll out of new programme products and services to different regions and via all our channels (marketing & human)
- Frequently collaborate with other tracks, understand their business needs, influence on their connectivity strategy, drive a win-win situation and lead success together
- Recognise, utilise and celebrate the strengths of colleagues in the region, marketing, product and property segments in order to achieve collective success.
- Promote inclusion by enabling others to see the benefits of multiple connectivity perspectives and influence interactions in a constructive way
- Actively and ongoingly provide, seek & act on feedback from other commercial/product teams, review data-driven approaches with data science, collaborate with marketing on all GTM activities and explore the market needs with our regional managers
- Strong data and analytical knowledge - define hypotheses, spot new opportunities and prove with new programme products/services incremental business with partners

- Take ownership of decisions by testing them against relevant criteria, while identifying assumptions, and consequences. Clarify impact on teams, peers and stakeholders
- Occasionally lead workshops to train and share knowledge with our regional partner business managers and connectivity partners

Role Qualifications and Requirements


  • The role is user-focused, keeps all our different connectivity customers (providers) at the heart of everything we do in a complex technology ecosystem
  • Strong interpersonal skills - a strong network of people is needed and to drive trust in order to succeed together and achieve own goals
  • Experience in heavy stakeholder management environments - The role manages a wide variety of stakeholders within different crafts like tech, design, product, marketing, legal, technical support and sales
  • Technology background with a focus on connectivity, APIs, cloud based models or Internet of Things - The role understands how our technology solutions and our partners software works, and ideates on new technology changes that can improve our partnership and advise our technology partners about improving their systems
  • Strong leadership and communication skills - Ability to lead business impactful conversations with our connectivity partners on a C-level
  • Strong background in data testing and proven analytical skills - Defines hypotheses, spots new opportunities and proves with new programme products/services incremental business with partners
  • Experience in the industry of B2B technology partnerships
  • Strategic thinking - balancing long-term vision with short- and medium-term goals
  • Strong change and project management skills - drives change in an agile project management / product development environment - Manages proposed changes and development, able to influence to get support from other teams and lead product related discussions with both internal teams & our technology partners
  • Strong work ethic; proactive, flexible and capable of working independently
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Solution oriented and result driven
