We're seeking a future team member in the role of Specialist, Full-stack Developer to join our Pershing Tech team. This role is in Lake Mary, FL OR Pittsburgh, PA- HYBRID.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Design and develop scalable software solutions using Agile methodology.
  • Partner with various technology teams to ensure smooth transition through development cycle.
  • Comfortable with both front-end and back-end development languages and frameworks.
  • Strong focus on hands on expert level analysis, design, and development of mission critical data intensive transaction processing applications leveraging enterprise frameworks and reusable patterns.
  • Provides tier 2/3 support for mission critical applications on a rotating schedule including some weekend and after hour coverage.
  • Work with development teams, project and product managers to develop software solutions
  • Build front-end of applications conforming to visual design standards provided by UX team
  • Build business data microservices
  • Build automated unit test cases
  • Leverage CI/CD principles and techniques to deliver quality code
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Full stack experience in the analysis, architecture, design, development, and operation of low latency high concurrency enterprise critical transaction processing applications, with a focus on data intensive real time applications.
  • Strong Java skills with an emphasis on Spring frameworks including: Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Security
  • Significant experience in developing Javascript based user interfaces with AngularJS, React, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, Bootstrap, Cordova, and/or equivalent technologies.
  • Strong use case driven object-oriented analysis and design skills.
  • Strong hands-on relational database skills with an emphasis on Oracle including; query performance tuning, PL/SQL, Stored Procedure and ETL techniques.
  • Significant experience in developing and consuming of REST based APIs applying best practices, standard methodologies, and content standards.
  • Familiar with software life cycle management, continuous delivery & integration, test automation, and test-driven development practices and frameworks
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn, with a strong aptitude for analysis and problem solving.
  • Ability to work with globally distributed virtual teams leveraging agile methodologies.
  • Understanding of the Apache Hadoop ecosystem, HDFS, Spark, hive, datawarehouse architectures, massively parallel processing, master data management, slowly changing dimensions, graph database, schemas, aggregation techniques, Terradata, Webfocus, Tableau, graphQL is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
  • A minimum of eight (8+) years' experience in software development required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
