What we do:

The US Client Onboarding team manages new business implementations for Asset Servicing. This is accomplished by leveraging our depth of experience in implementations and vast knowledge of the industry we support. We take a disciplined project management approach leveraging standard tools and artifacts to deliver implementations on time. Most client implementations include multiple services and therefore requires coordination across multiple teams within BNY Mellon (Custody, Accounting, Performance, etc.). Successful implementations will be delivered to the client requirements and satisfaction and provide an exceptional client experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The position is for a Senor project specialist that will manage large new business implementations for Asset Servicing services. The implementation projects will be client facing and strong communication skills to host client and internal calls and attend client presentations are necessary. The project management for the implementation of services includes: reporting and tracking project status, managing project meetings and workshops, monitoring risks, issues, and dependencies through weekly reports, CAIR log, and project plans, escalate delays or issues that will significantly impact project delivery, maintain open communication with project initiators, operations, front office, technology, senior management, and clients, and lastly to deliver within the agreed upon deadline. This role also supports US Client Onboarding strategy by supporting management in any function specific initiatives and employee engagement directives.

The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of the products and services within Asset servicing and/or project management experience. The candidate will need to be detail and results oriented, well organized, and have strong communication skills to host client meetings, attend client presentations, and follow up with internal and external stakeholders. Problem solving skills and project management skills are preferred. Asset Servicing product knowledge of (Custody, Accounting, Performance, and/or other services within Asset Servicing) are required. Project management certification preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required.
  • 7-10 years of total work experience in Project Management preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Prince2 certification is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
