We're seeking a future team member for the role of Sr. Specialist, Employee Relations to join our People Team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL - HYBRID.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Manages and responds to general employee relations inquiries and non-high risk ethics concerns independently.
  • Will conduct limited scope / lower-risk investigations.
  • May serve as partner to senior team members on complex or high-risk matters.
  • Can perform non-high risk ER work and other project work fairly autonomously from senior team members.
  • Responds to non-high risk ER issues and ethics cases.
  • Responsible for determining the appropriate response and coordinating with the appropriate parties when action is required independently or with limited guidance.
  • Works directly with senior team members to address general employee relations issues raised by managers or employees.
  • Escalates high-risk employee issues and employee workplace incidents and/or security threats to more senior team members and may partner with the team to investigate and provide resolution.
  • Initiates contact with legal counsel and executive/senior management as needed.
  • Accurately assesses the level of legal intervention needed, especially in cases of employee termination. May coordinate or be involved, when necessary, on termination situations with other involved parties and may present evidence for termination.
  • Serves as a resource and advises on general/basic policy application and process/practice implementation.
  • No direct reports.
  • Contributes to the achievement of Employee Relations objectives within a line of business.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 5+ years of total work experience preferred.
  • Experience in Employee Relations or in an HR advisor role is preferred.
